Dhara edible oils witness price drop as Mother Dairy cuts MRP by INR 10 per litre

Published:

Mother Dairy, a prominent milk supplier in Delhi-NCR, announced on Thursday that it will be reducing the maximum retail price (MRP) of Dhara edible oils. The price cut amounts to INR 10 per litre. The revised prices will be implemented from next week, and customers can expect to find the stocks with the new rates in the market.

According to the company, the decision to reduce the MRP is in line with the decline in global market prices of edible oils.

“The maximum retail price (MRP) of all variants of Dhara edible oils is being reduced by INR 10 per litre on account of the continued decline in edible oil prices internationally and better availability of domestic crops such as mustard,” a company spokesperson said.

According to the spokesperson, the updated MRP stocks are scheduled to be available in the market within a week.

The new rate of Dhara refined Soyabean Oil has been set at INR 140 per litre. Additionally, the MRP of Dhara Refined Ricebran Oil has been reduced to INR 160 per litre. For those preferring Dhara Refined Vegetable Oil, the updated MRP will now be INR 200 per litre. Dhara offers two options for mustard oil: Dhara Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil will be sold at INR 160 per litre MRP, while Dhara Mustard Oil will be priced at INR 158 per litre. In the case of Dhara Refined Sunflower Oil, the revised MRP is INR 150 per litre. Lastly, Dhara groundnut oil will be available at an MRP of INR 230 per litre.
